Artist Statement

“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see” – Edgar Degas

My ‘raison d’etre’ is to create fine art photographic masterpieces. I am focused on crafting images which are both technically excellent and artistically beautiful. My photography explores the art in nature, both the simple and chaotic, in close details and distant vistas. My working philosophy as an artist is all about perseverance, patience and commitment. It is only by pursuing these traits that I am able to capture fleeting moments of light that are unique, unusual and visually striking.

My photography attempts to portray the emotions I felt to the viewer at the place and time  I pressed the shutter. If my fine art photographs can transport you to that moment by stirring these emotions in you then I have gone someway to achieving my vision.
